July Kicks Off With a Bang

Excitement in Northwest Ohio lasts all month long, but especially over the next 7 days! This array of opportunities can't come from one leader or location. A healthy and thriving artistic community sees growth everywhere and from multiple leaders. Huge thanks go out to Kay Renee and Ashleigh Smith for creating opportunities for artists. Toledo women know who to make it happen!

We bring entertainment to you and make it affordable. Cheaper than going to a movie and the talent often lives in your community. We give everyone spaces to gather and enjoy poetry/spoken word, share a stage, and buy directly from local and national artists. And we do it by working with businesses in our community, to support the economic health of all. To me, that cooperation is key to the growth of our community.

Saturday, July 8 at 4pm at The Attic on Adams, 1701 Adams St., Toledo

Celebrate summer with spoken word and poetry performances featuring Melanie Dusseau-Ray, Barbara Marie Minney, and Live Hightower. Bring your best for our open mic! Anything goes... poetry, music, literary whatnot. Hosted by Lucas County Poet Laureate, Jonie McIntire. Special thanks to The Attic On Adams and the Arts Commission of Greater Toledo for their ongoing support of literary artists.
