Toledo knows artists are activists. And what better way to get everyone excited about the election process and neighborhood engagement than a multimedia Power Tour!
Reinvest Toledo works to shine a light on the importance of voting and help build engaged communities. And they are looking for spoken word artists! They need 2 artists to perform original spoken word pieces that answer the questions

What would happen or what are the possibilities if more people voted?
Come audition to be a part of the show! Auditions are this Saturday, April 27th, from 10am to 5pm at the recording studio in MottBranch library at 1010 Dorr Street in Toledo.
We'll be selecting one artist to represent each viewpoint. Bring a sample of your original composition to the audition and be ready to perform it in your style. Your work does not have to be a finished piece - we'll have professionals to help get it stage-ready!
Be sure that you can commit to the performances on the following dates, as well as 8 rehearsals before them:
